Michigan's Adventure!

Thanks to Grandpa Vanderwest for taking a pile of his children and grandchildren to Michigan's Adventure on Friday. Ken and Nathan enjoyed some rides with myself, Seth, and Robyn, then they went off to enjoy the big rides (Nathan is exactly 48" - the requirement!) They all had a ball on the kiddie rides (Robyn in her sunglasses on the motorcycle was too cute!) and played till they dropped in the kids' area of the waterpark. By the end of the day, both they and their mother were beat and fell into bed when we got home!

Valerie and fam were here from PA, so of course all the other Vanderwests come around to enjoy time with them and each other. Rousing games of soccer, hangin' out together, water games, etc...our kids are getting into this cousin thing and will ask, "Do we get to see our cousins today?!" Large families (remember Ken's the youngest of six) are special and fun. Thank you, Grandma Vanderwest, for welcoming this crew and always having plenty of good food and an open door! You deserve a nap today!
