. . . after over two years of paperwork, waiting, signatures, waiting, waiting, and more waiting (Amy was in her "9th month of pregnancy" for at least the last six months!), the Fisher Forever Family of Four is together!! They are in China and Emma (20 months old) is IN THEIR ARMS at long last! We're so happy for you, guys! Their joy and the journey brings me to tears of happiness for them. They are dear friends and colleagues - Josh is the Worship Pastor at KCBC. Our kids have been poring over the pictures on the computer. Last night Seth prayed, "Thank you God for Emma Mei be with her family." I learn from the simple truths and faith of my children.
Please pray for them - that Emma will have a quick and strong bond to Amy, Josh, and Katelyn (our now 7 year old best friend-yesterday, the day they got Emma, was Katelyn's birthday!) and that the rest of their trip will be safe and special. Enjoy the pictures!
