Wrote this last week sitting in beautiful Kentucky in 70+ degree weather. Added a little more and thought I'd post.
Spring Break this week...
-a break from teaching!
-a break from schedules
-a break from all the responsibilities that "call out to me"
-a time to enjoy!!!!! Isn't that what Spring Break should be? I do enjoy getting things done around the house, but this year we're having a fun break from the normalcy of life. The moms and kids piled into the Sienna and headed to Floyds Knobs, IN, just north of Louisville, where Amy Fisher's parents live. Highlights have included:
-beautiful weather! (hit 80 the last two days!)
-watching the polar bear swim and swim at the Louisville Zoo.
-not one but TWO easter egg hunts! Seth quickly figured out this was a game he wanted to be part of!
-sleeping in a bit (the kids slept till 7:30 a couple of days!) and relaxing at the Mobley home.
-playing with the kids - inside, outside, all around. They sure are fun.
-Watching the four of them (N, R, S, and Katelyn) have a great time together.
-hanging out with Amy. She's a special friend.
-the graciousness of David and Sheila (thank you for your open home and hearts!)
-Target!! (need I say more?)
-The outlets of Edinburgh. My how motivated we moms can be when shopping and deals are involved! Amy took 2 kids, I took 2 kids...we power shopped!
And now that I'm home...
being back together as a family. Daddy enjoyed his time at home but then said the house was too quiet. We had a wonderful time away...now what is there to do than go dig out my winter coat?

Hi Rhonda,
I love those outlets at Edinburg! I haven't been in a few yrs but they are just over an hour south from my house. Sounds like you had a great time away!
