Birthday Blessings

Blessings of the day:

*Receiving an early morning phone call: 2 hour delay! (especially nice when you're part-time and teach 3 hours!)

*Coming home to birthday banners and pictures colored for me! (thank you, Miss Katie) Even a Clifford Crown made just for me, which I happily wore.

*The kids and I meeting my Dad at Wendy's and viewing the Meijer Gardens and Butterfly Exhibit. The kids and I love being with Grandpa. We marveled at the beauty of God's creation in the vibrant flowers, flowing streams, and exquisite butterflies. (I did leave the Clifford crown at home)

*Making Giaradelli Birthday Brownies with Robyn this afternoon.

*Eating Giaradelli Birthday Brownies (with vanilla ice cream, of course) with my family tonight! Seth was SURE he needed to eat one just prior to dinner, but Mom held firm (don't tell him there was a corner missing in the brownie pan!)

*Nathan making a card with a sweet note - all written by him.

*Ken being home tonight and giving me a sweet card and gift. We had one of my Great-Grandma Marker's (my mom's grandmother) paintings matted and framed and it hangs in our living room now.

*Seth crawling into my lap after dinner and saying, "You pretty, Mommy," while rubbing my soft shirt.

*Giggles, laughs, hugs, and knowledge that I am loved by my Lord and He has blessed me GREATLY. Thank you, God, for a special birthday. Help me live each day for You this coming year.
