Dear Santa...

Robyn brought home a large piece of red construction paper yesterday. On it was Santa's head, colored and glued on the top, and his black boots colored and glued on the bottom. In the middle was the gem: Her letter to Santa. I asked her where she had come up with her ideas - from the teacher? other students? "No - I thought of all of them myself!" In her sweet (and large) 1st grade writing, here was the letter:

Dear Santa,

Please bring some slippers.

Please bring some new teeth.

Please bring a new friend.

Please bring a play dol.

Please bring a journal.

Please bring some books.

Please bring some more snow.

-Robyn

Isn't that precious?

as sweet as she is! I love the "please" before each request, if she's asking for new teeth, maybe I can ask for a new body! watching her tonight at the program made me cry...she is such a precious girl and it brings healing to my heart to see her free to be who God created her to be. You and Ken are doing an amazing job! :) Miss Tracie
