Robyn is so excited these days! I've been figuring out paint swatches and have purchased her comforter (white with various shaped pink hearts-from light to dark pink) and curtains to match.....the wallpaper is down (thank you, Seth, for giving us a good headstart on that project) and MONDAY is the day. We'll scrub the walls, paint the ceiling, two coats of PINK paint (not pale, not eye shocking bright-a nice medium shade), and that will probably do us in. The white trim I can work on during spring break-and then the fun part of putting the room together! Friends gave us a twin bed with dark wood slats - we're going to sand those and paint those white. That reminds me - Ken's parents have a twin box spring (we already took the mattress for the bunk beds) but we need to get a mattress. Hot pink decorations for the wall.
Our little princess, our first robyn of spring - we are eager and happy to get this done and thrill her pink and purple loving soul. :)
